Privacy
Ads will pay for CanWin. We count visits to see which pages people use. We never ask for your name, and you don’t need an account.
What we count
- Which pages are opened, and what’s used on them: the filters, the search box, the draft lab. We use this to see what’s worth building and whether people come back. We count it with Umami, open-source analytics that runs on our own server, so it goes to no one else.
- If you say yes when the site asks, your browser keeps an anonymous ID, so your visits link up. It’s a random code, not your name or your Riot ID.
- If you say no, or don’t answer, your visits still count, but nothing is stored in your browser. Our server tells visits apart with a code made from your browser and connection that changes every month, so they can’t be linked beyond that month.
- We don’t send what you type, except what you search for. We don’t record your screen, and we only count the actions listed above, not every click.
Ads
Ads aren’t running yet. Before they start, this page will name the ad partner and what it stores. Where the law requires it, you’ll be asked first, and you can say no.
Your choice
You haven’t chosen yet.
If you change to no, the anonymous ID is removed from your browser at once.
What stays in your browser
- A few small notes for the site, in your browser’s local storage: your answer to the question above, that you’ve seen the “How to read the numbers” box and whether you closed it, the last three champion pages you opened, and the champion you starred as yours. The search box and the home page offer that champion to you again. These notes never leave your browser.
- Clearing your browser’s site data removes them, and the anonymous ID if there is one.
- Like any website, the servers that deliver the pages (Cloudflare) see your IP address and the pages you ask for. Those logs are kept only as long as the host needs them for security.
Game data
The numbers come from ranked games, which we get through Riot Games’ API. Riot’s own privacy notice covers what Riot does with players’ data. Every page shows totals over many games and names no player. We keep players’ identifiers only to count each player once and to tell who mains a champion.
The pages show games from patches 16.19–16.20 and are rebuilt each patch. The games behind them stay on our own machines, to rebuild the numbers. When Riot passes on a player’s request to delete their data, we remove that player’s games before the next rebuild.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about your Riot account and have it removed from future numbers. Write to hello@sweez.io.
